What does everyone think about that shooting at the LA Fitness center?

I live in Pittsburgh and I am like 20 minutes from Bridgeville and it is very scary to hear about that guy going to the gym and shooting women at the LA Fitness Center located in Bridgeville. Did anyone hear about that? For people who don’t live in Pittsburgh, I am sure it made national news. Any comments? Why did that guy do that? I hear he was desperate? That’s pretty scary, don’t you think?!! There were no guys he shot, just women because he couldn’t get himself a girlfriend and was desperate?

It’s a shame he did something like that out of loneliness. I also live near Pittsburgh. I won’t even go near that town because of all the crimes. Debbie
This sort of thing is really scary and people who act like that are studied by psychologists but hard to identify beforehand. All you can do is always be alert and not let anyone make you so fearful you can’t live your life.
Don’t watch the story on cable news where it will come up over and over and over. Nobody knows anything right now, so speculation is just that. Probably most of what is being said will turn out to be wrong or not helpful.
I don’t even know what happened to the shooter. Just heard about number of weapons and blogs. Maybe someone will make some sense out of this.
Nobody can know why a man who can’t get a date thinks there is any point in shooting random women. I think that this is more than simple pathology. it is also evil. keiko
i live in pittsburgh, and i’m pretty sure that they are saying on the news that he was in a deep depression and all of those blogs and whatnot. i think he did it because he was very mentally ill. Allison S
