What components of fitness are used in long jump and 400m?
I’ve asked this before, but i didn’t get many replies. Just to clarify, this is kinda 2 separate questions. if you need help, this website explains components of fitness: http://www.brianmac.co.uk/conditon.htm
Also, if you could suggest what exercises could help to improve on these that i could include in a 6 week training program?(optional). this is for year 11 Phys Ed, and we need to put it into practise also, thanks

coordination agillity power flexability and strength. Possibly endurance for the 400m but, that is it in a nutshell. For exercises, i would suggest 5 sets of 3 repetitions on 85% of your maximum with olympic lifts such as hang cleans, and squats, bench press, and arm work such as curls and pull downs. For running, do sprints, try yoga and stretching for flexabillity, and for coordination, practice diong things with your eyes closed or something, practice catching things alley
