What are your opinions on a martial art school that has a major focus on fitness?
I’m talking about any school that has you do more than just a warm up before class. One that has a fitness test as part of their curriculum.

I have seen some Black belt instructors who look a bit out of shape , is this okay ?

How can I get my fitness back?
I have just got over having chronic fatigue for at least 6 months. I was 14 and am soon turning 15. I used to be very athletic and did several martial arts, which I’m hoping to get back into later on this year. I am currently back at school full time but am very unfit. The other day I tried going flat-out on my punching bag for 2 minutes but then suffered lot’s of muscle pains the next day. What are some good ways I can get my fitness back quicker?

I understand you need to be flexable, How does one get better at being flexable? I want to do martial arts but I also want to get some muscel on me, and get stronger, Are the best martial artists skinny guys?

this would include info on ALL styles(constant updates obviously), on martial arts film, nutrition, fitness, philosophy and general personal development. it would also contain a section where any question could be asked and an answer would always be given–eventually.

How can I increase my overall fitness/endurance?
Didn’t get anything from Diet/Fitness category, so I’ll try you guys…
I am hoping to do my next ju-jitsu grading in June, but at the minute I don’t think I am physically fit enough to go through 5 hours of non-stop testing. I am not looking so much to build up core strength, but general endurance and the ability to keep going for longer. What is the best way to train for this?
