Are there any fitness courses or camps suitable to prepare one to enter the army?
I am considering entering the Australian Army, and would like to be fit enough to not be a burden to the team during training. Are there any courses or fitness camps designed to physically prepare people for entry into the army?

I’m not sure about camps/courses near you but you could hit up t-nation.com
they have a lot of fitness regiments for different situations. My husband is military and swore by this site before he left for Basic Ashley
Just be in generally good shape and you’ll be fine. You might want to be able to run a mile or two and do a 100 push ups.
From what I remember of the Australion friends I met when I was in the U.S. service, being able to drink a lot of beer helps too. proud dad
I don’t know about Australia, but in the US, being able to run 1.5-3 miles in a good time, do maybe 50 pushups, at least 3-5 pullups, and I think 50-100 crunches in a couple minutes is excellent. Will
